Have you ever wondered about the standard of hygiene at some of the premises that handle food in your area? Do you know where you can get information relating to your local butchers and other food outlets? Well now you can have a look at the environmental services reports online. The environmental health department who carry out regular inspections in South Lanarkshire are offering a new service whereby you can check out safety reports on the South Lanarkshire Council website. All food remises in South Lanarkshire ranging from major food processors who export their goods around the world to local shops and restaurants are featured. The premises are listed in and an A to Z. Not all premises have their reports attached yet. There are also forms on the site that you can use to register a food premise or if you wish to make a complaint.
