Clyde Valley Orchards are delighted to announce a celebration of their orchards, fruit and local food - for all the family by having a Clyde Valley Fruit Day. This event will take place on Saturday 4th October 2008 at Overton Farm, Crossford, Carluke, ML8 5QF (alongside the Farmers Market)starting 10 am.
There will be marquees with a range of stalls and outdoor attractions
Various Attractions including stalls selling fruit, preserves, baked produce, juices, honey, vegetables & more
‘Fruit Box Stall’ - bring & sell your orchard fruit
Advice and display of new and old apple varieties
Country crafts
Information & displays by local community groups
Children’s activities
Fruit juice pressing
Selling your produce
Traders - Stalls are still available (inside marquees, 6 ft tables, smaller or half stalls available on request). Booking essential.
Local orchard owners - Why not come along and sell a box of your own garden or orchard fruit (locally grown and wild fruits). Share a stall with others doing the same. Booking before the event is essential.
