Forth Community Resource Centre is ABSOLUTELY delighted to announce that a number of local people have been awarded certificates in computing under the OCR Clait national qualification.
At a prize-giving in Forth Community Resource Centre on 23 September, a total of 17 IT Unit Certificates were awarded to Elizabeth Brown, Christine Crozier, Lorraine Dobbin, Isobel Hogg, Anne Knox, Kathy Macaulay, Mabel Morris, Willie Ritchie, Isobel Storrar, Norah Taylor and Keith Whitton.
In addition, after successfully obtaining Unit Certifcates in 5 modules, including file management, word-processing, spreadsheets, database, Internet & Email, desktop publishing and e-presentation, OCR awarded Diplomas for IT to Elizabeth Brown and Isobel Hogg.
Andy Henderson, Convenor for Forth Community Resource Centre said,
‘How fantastic is this! We are so proud of these people and the qualifications they have gained, and wish them well. Forth Community Resource Centre is delighted to have been part of this achievement.’
Funding for this training was made possible by the Big Lottery Fair Share Trust Programme, administered by Scottish Communities Foundation.
