BC Crew gets soaked for Charity

On Saturday 4th October, in gale force winds and heavy rain, and very cold - the BC Crew young people and leaders and supporters took part in the Big Fun Run in Glasgow. An early start from Forth, we arrived in plenty of time, and walked half the route just to get to the help desk and collect our race numbers. Then after hanging about reasonably patiently we were off. Two boys ran it and John finished in the top ten. The rest of us walked it and enjoyed getting to know each other better along the way.
Bellahouston Park in Glasgow is very nice and thoroughly recommend it. We are going back for a picnic when the weather is dry!!!
We raised money for CHAS - Childrens Hospice Association Scotland, and currently the total is around £250. So well done to all who took part.
Next year, the whole group is going to run it!!
