Grant Applications a Success!

Forth Community Football Club are happy to announce that we have been sucessful in our grant applications at last. As you know we currently have six teams in the Scottish Youth Football Association with around 100 members and we had to use the same pitches for training as well as for playing matches. Well, we now have the monies for replacing the red blaes with a modern five and seven a side artificial grass football and training facility with a new boundary fence and improved floodlighting. The total cost of the project is £157000 with South Lanarkshire's Council Renewable Energy Fund awarding us £50,666 and the Levenseat Trust £50,666 A further funding application to Sportsscotland for £50,666 has also been approved and the club itself will contribute £5000. The club has the capacity to train the children throughout the winter months and now we have the facilities to do this. This will help the club grow and attract more players.
