On Sunday 29th March the clocks go forward one hour therefore Thursday evening excavations at Hyndford Mills will recommence for the summer season. From this week digs will take place twice a week to allow people the choise for when they might be available on Saturday mornings from 10am and on Thursday evenings from 6pm. Tools will be on site at these times unless notified otherwise. Anyone wishing to become involved in this important community project is welcome with consolidation of the site rapidly approaching with full recording of the now two years work followed by the creation of descriptor boards to tell the story of the mills history followed by incorporation of Hyndford Mills in a mills trail within three miles of Lanark.
