Go along and enjoy a glass of wine/juice and cake in this pleasnat hall while listening to a selection of choral music from Burns, Vaugh Williams, Holst, Parry and more. Some serious musical challenges and some fun pieces. The choir will be conducted by Aidan Broadbridge and the accompanist will be Fiona Mackie. The venue has parking nearby and disabled access. Tickets cost £8.00 Concessions £6 and the price includes refreshments.

The Scottish Goldpanning Championships

Gold is found in the sands and gravels in the burns in Scotland which act as a natural means of concentrating the gold. At various times prospectors were drawn to the Wanlockhead locality in search of gold. The weather outlook is good so why take along a picnic enjoy supporting the people who know taking part in the Scottish Championship.
