Description
The Fire Station building in Bothwell Road is the headquarters of the Strathclyde Fire Brigade - one of the most innovative fire brigades in the whole of Europe. Strathclyde Fire and Rescue is also one of the biggest in Europe. Situated in the west of Scotland in the UK, its geographical area covers almost 14,000 square kilometers (about 5,500 square miles). The area includes 31 inhabited islands and has a coastline longer than that of France.
